Our love for the Australian Shepherd really began in 1981 when someone was trying to rehome a red tri male in a divorce. Quickly we got an additional Aussie and took the two everywhere with us. They went Cross-country skiing, river canoe camping, Four wheeling, Trail riding and just a good companion. In the mid-eighties we got the show bug winning a second-place ribbon at our first show. From there the fire ignited to having dogs compete in conformation, obedience, agility, rally, herding, and scent work. To expand my knowledge, I also am a Senior Breeder Judge and love seeing all the dogs across the Nation.
My goal in breeding Australian Shepherds is to choose good structure, health, temperament, instinct, and athleticism to maintain this versatile, biddable, willing to please breed of dog, whether it be in a family home or a competition ring.
